10 Days!!!....

I can't believe that in just over a week I'm gonna be on an aeroplane!!

I packed my bags today making sure that all my clothes fit into my suitcase and bag - they did with plenty of extra space! Feeling very happy about that.

I had my last shift with a group of clients today but unfortunately that shift was cancelled so I never got to say goodbye but I hope to see them again once I return in 3 months.

I was very overwhelmed today, the first time I really have felt the big nerves and sadness about leaving. Luckily Lucy and Patrick made it all better by celebrating Christmas a bit earlier this year x. We set up Christmas in their apartment with lights and two Christmas trees and finishing with Lucy and I's got too Christmas film The Grinch (cartoon version).

I'm glad we got to have some traditions kept despite me not being here in December.

I can't wait to start some new traditions this year at Christmas time and enjoying a white Christmas and a brand new culture.
