On the 15th I was busy with programme. I got to take the group of Girl Scouts to play Essitock, I got told I was a very good teacher as I helped the instructors with some of the Girls. It was very fun but they were pretty tired from their hike the day before. We then traveled back to Chalet as it began to snow. After lunch the leaders decided to travel home early before the snow got worse. So I had some officework to do instead.
I then tried empanadas for dinner. They were really good and I can't wait to try some traditional ones in Argentina at the end of this year, hopefully.
Today is national sad day, and today was my saddest day at Chalet. One of the volunteers that I have become very close to has gone home unexpectedly. It was a bit emotional so this afternoon I snuggled on the couch and watched Narnia whilst the snow fell outside, It was one of the coldest days today. This morning I was busy with office programme work and preparing for a badge all of us volunteers are going to work on that focuses on World hunger and things we can do to make an impact.
We are then having Cottage pie for dinner!
Big hug!!😘
