Today I had morning reception so was up nice and early sorting out my morning meeting on the 10th for World Pulses Day and sorting out the Chalet Cat Skippy.
I then helped shovel some snow as we got a little but overnight and we need a nice clear path.
I then went into Adelboden to create a new scavenger hunt for future programs. It was quite fun to travel around Adelboden and find some hidden activities that I maybe wouldn't of seen if I hadn't been creating the hunt. My roommate came and helped as she had a day off and no plans.
We then planned on doing a sunset hike but unfortunately the avalanche risk was too high so we couldn't go. Instead I stayed in the office to do a bit more work and answer the phone.
This evening after Lasagne for dinner we had Free Being me, which is a WAGGGS Program about self confidence. It was quite a fun program to do with the volunteers and I enjoyed it.

Today we had a program outdoor risk assessment training day. It was all about learning dynamic risk assessments so we got to go Sledding. I have a program in the next week for sledding with a group so I found it really beneficial and fun!!
I decided to stay at the back to help some of the other volunteers that might struggle. It was quite a long sledge run and some parts qere quite flat so you had to buy shuffle or walk. I helped some of the others and then got to go on a run by myself going steady but fast.
We then went on the Giant Swing before having to leave .
When we got back we had a meeting about the program and then got told we could go night sledding. So after a quick dinner of toasties we headed by up the cable car to go sledding in the night. Unfortunately my headlight didn't work so it was very scary but super fun!! It got to -11°c so I did one blue run and one red run which was harder and a lot steeper, I fell off twice but it was caused by other people. We then headed back to watch a film and get nice and warm.
It was a very fun night!!
