12th Of January

I started the day nice and early on morning reception no guests so had some nice quiet time to myself. I spent the evening before by myself for the first time in a month as my rommie was in Germany- its going to be hard alone in my room back in Australia!!!

I had an office day today but I had done all of my jobs so I helped chip ice and do some maintainance work before helping clean all the kitchen.

I then spent the afternoon planning some activities for Thinking Day this year- Which is a big day for guides all over the world, I feel lucky to be here at Our Chalet to celebrate.

We then had a trivia night with long term staff and the other volunteers. It was very fun and nice to do something a bit different in our evenings.
