24th of December

The start of our Christmas celebrations!!!

I woke up jumping our of bed and saying Feliz Navidad to my roommate as today we celebrate Christmas for the half of our group the celebrate Christmas on the 24th.

I put on my amazing Christmas sweater and pants and got ready for a day of games, laughs and food!!

We started off by playing the Goose game which is a team board game where you travel around the world centres and Scout groups. My team lost in the tie breaker but it was a lot of fun and I can't wait to bring it back to my unit.

We then did some training before having spaghetti bolognase for lunch.

Four people from my volunteer group then shared their Christmas traditions, this included making an organisation wish star to go on the tree, listening to Finnish Christmas music and a Nigerian Christmas story, as well as a presentation about Argentina and karaoke. We also watched Father Christmas.

We then sat down and had a beautiful Christmas dinner represented by all our different countries.

I then facetimed with my family and I can't wait to celebrate more Christmas tomorrow!!
