29th and 30th- First day on programme

The 29th I thought was going to be a very chilled day as I felt I had everything under control for programs however one of the staff members was sick so I had to prepare everything for programmes and do lots of running around and changing of programes due to no snow. I also had to practice and prepare for the evening program.

I had a lovely dinner getting to know more of the guests. Me and my roommate Belen were then on evening program and had a pinning ceremony and tour. We were a bit nervous but it was successful and they were all very understanding.

This morning I was then up early to prepare for our hike at Engsligenalps. The initial plan was to go snow tubing but there isn't enough snow. However we did wake up to some snow around Chalet, it had disappeared by the evening due to the rain but it was very exciting this morning.

We walked to the cable cart with the guests and I got to talk to them a bit more and get to know them. Some of the guests had visited many of the World centres so it was interesting hearing their experiences.

At the top of the Alps we looked in igloos and went on a snow circuit. They had a snowman building contest which was very fun for those that aren't around snow.

We then headed home in the rain but got a hot chocolate and home for lemon chicken pasta for dinner and Strawberry mousse.

I have now collapsed in my bed ready for another day on programme tomorrow!!
