8th of December

Wow what a busy day today was...

I got up nice and early to decorate a birthday cake for one of the other volunteers.

We then continued our training where We started with discussing the yearly Christmas party that Our Chalet hosts and ideas for songs and performances we wish we do.

We then learnt all about how to to host a campfire safely and how to present a tour around our chalet to visitors.

We then had chilli for lunch and birthday cake.

I Skype my sister which was very nice to talk and see her again!

We then went for a programme walk at guest pace into Adelboden the village to pick up our skiis. About 10kms there and back at a very slow pace.

It was a very long walk and we didn't get back until dark and after dinner- However the others waited for us.

We then finished the evening with a campfire where all the volunteers sang a song from their home country.

I have now just collapsed into bed.
