30-

WOW!! Doing Disney in a group is so much fun!!

7 out of the 13 on our tour joined Carys and I on our trip to Disneyland!!

I was full on Disney crazy... of course.

Told everyone to wake up at 7am and leave by 7:30.

I woke up at 6:47am and was dressed and ready by 7am when I then proceeded to wake everyone up... whoops. Let the crazy begin.

I was then tour leader of the day. Starting at Space Mountain everyone's must do ride. Compelting some disney games in the line. We then headed to Star Wars to do the rise of resistance ride. Just as good as Florida but hilarious to watch the groups reaction when they had zero idea what was happening.

We then enjoyed lots of the rides, lots of food, lots of laughs.

We got a terrible spot behind trees for the fireworks.

Tianas Bayou adventure was the number 1 ride I wanted to do which we finally got to do after the fireworks! It was so much fun!! I didn't get as soaked as Carys did who had to buy a new t-shirt they were so wet.

Then most of the group wanted to enjoy big thunder mountain again but I went with one of the other girls to enjoy the small character rides. I then raced off to buy my forst ever Mickey ears, enjoyed some final fisney magic on my own before we straggled home exhausted!

Best day ever!!!! Awesome rides, Awesome vibes and Great magic

Food, Fireworks, Shows, photos with Mickey and Clarabelle.

Thank you group for putting up with my Disney Crazy!!!

16 rides in 16 hours completed!!

31-

Today we had a rest day between disney days. Had to say goodbye to the rest of our tour group this morning as they all went their separate ways. Managed to do a bit of a walk in between the Disney's and enjoy some of the shops and atmosphere. Carys and I sat and enjoyed the movie cars and ate this very weird ice cream slushy thing...

Not much to report as it was genuinely just rest today.

1st

Wow, another great day at Disney! Today we got up really early to head straight over to Calafornia Adventure. The plan was to get there before opening and male our way to Cars land for the Radiator springs racers ride I have been dreaming of since I was 6. Growing up watch Disney DVDs and never pressing fast play I used to watch the advertisements for Disneyland and I remember seeing this ride where you sit in a car ride around radiator springs and race. I finally got to do that ride today!!

Until we arrived at disney they opened cars land and that ride was closed...

So we raced over to the Incredicoaster where we cued for 12 minutes and got to ride. It was super fun! Then we went to Toy Story Mania, the shooting game. I finally won!! Everytime Carys and I play these shooting games they win!! But I finally won. Woohoo!!

We then headed over to Radiator springs where we did Maters tractor ride, a nicer version of the tea cups!

Then I went on this parks version of Tower of Terror, but Guardians of the galaxy themed. Ended up making friends with a mum and her teen daughters as Carys ditched me in the que.

I was then off fast enough to meet Spiderman with Carys and then our longest que for the day... Spiderman 4D ride. Which was agem where we had to grab as many spider robots as possible, I beat them at this too. It was quite interesting though as it censored your hand instead of using a gun or anything.

We then raced over to radiator springs racers as this car ride finally opened!! We waited like 10 minutes and got kn it. Hands down best Disney ride!!! It was awesome!! I had a blast!!

We then went to the Monsters Inc rode which was quite a nice friendly ride. We then did Crushes talk, which when we were in Florida I was disappointed that it was in Calafornia but now here we are! It was quite funny and a great experience.

Then we opted to get wet on the Grizzly Peaks ride. We did it single rider to save like an hour of waiting time. We didn't get as wet as Tianas so that was good.

We were then going to do a few other rides but the wet times were so long! So we did the Inside out memory ride which was like the Dubbo ride at disney and then waited for the Parade.

After the parade we went to Soarin which is a ride completely hidden from the park, the wait time was 75 minutes so we did single rider where we waited maybe 10-15. We got on these seats that were lifted in front of a big screen and travelled around the world with smells, air and movement to make you feel like you were really there.

Then we did Goofys fly school, the little mermaid.

The most terrifying time of the day was the Ferris wheel. A main attraction at this Disneyland and you have the option for a swinging or non-swinging experience. I felt it was cheating to do non-swinging. But I'm absolutely terrified of heights and watching this carriage swing and imaging us flying straight off really freaked me out. So definitely cried and feared for my life. But we had three other people in our carriage who had just graduated and were celebrating at Disneyland so it was great to chat with them... don't know if they would agree!!

We then saw Guardians of the galaxy dance off and then went on Radiator springs again, before settling in for the water show on the lake. Which was amazing!!!

Straight to bed when we got back!!

Few days in Hollywood:

The Disney Downs were experienced now that Disney is over. It also kind of hit Carys and I that our tour is over and we won't get to see those amazing people again!!

But we made our way to Hollywood! Seeing the Hollywood sign to our right as we drove in.

Straight after dropping our bags at the hostel we walked the Hollywood walk of fame. It was WAYYY longer then we were intending but it was good to do and experience. So many around!!

We then cooked our dinner, nice to have a proper home cooked meal in a proper kitchen.

The next day neither of us were feeling too great so we relaxed, went up to the Griffith Obervatory to see the Hollyood sign which I was quite underwhelmed by. We then spent the afternoon trying to find a cinema to see the new Lilo and Stitch film. We finally settled on the El Capitan a apparently famous Disney theatre. Well this was an experience as we first got to see Keanu Reeves before entering as they were having a pre-screening event at thr Chinese theatre across the road for this new film "Ballarina".

This theatre was then like a musical broadway show theatre with a big screen to watch the film. Before the film began we had a host with a microphone telling us all about the new Disney films being released.

We then had stitch come out of no where and perform a dance and show for us and then we enjoyed the film. A very "American" experience. Carys says if we don't get this in New York when we see Fantastic four they will be very disappointed... hate to break it to you Carys but it isn't going to happen.

Our third day we barely life the hostel we've both come down with some sore throat and cough so we just watched movies, sorted our some photos, luggage and laundry. We did take an afternoon walk to Walt Disney's first studio which was really cool to see.

Our last morning in Hollywood we joined our hostels tour to the Hollywood sign. I was feeling very under the weather but sucked it up to enjoy anyway. I very much needed rest ...
