Times Square!!!

I started my day joining in with the hostel event which was a yoga class. I met a few people going to the same camp as me which was pretty cool as well.

I then had my first bagel for breakfast and walked to the Subway for a day in times square. I felt like I had stepped into a movie scene walking up the stairs from the Subway and out onto 7th Avenue. The buildings were hige, massive billboards, yellow taxis and people walking everywhere!

I spent 4 hours just walking up the main streets of Times Square. I went in a few shops that looked interesting and managed not to buy anything but a hershys chocolate bar. The rain began to pour down with thunderstorms half way through so I got completely drenched as I was determined to get to my next store! I visited the Disney store, M&Ms, Hersheys world, target ect.

I just really enjoyed seeing all the buildings and billboards and well as all the Broadway show signs. It was quite overwhelming but I managed to still have a great time exploring.

I then found the rockerfeller centre, which would have looked a lot cooler with a Christmas tree!!

FAO Schwarz toy store from the movie BIG and I played the big piano and the Tiffany and Co from breakfast at Tiffany's.

My jet lag and exhaustion from the last 2 days eventually caught up with me so I went back to the hostel for a rest and dinner before an early night.

See you tomorrow Brooklyn!!!
